Emirates Islamic would like to alert you to a concerning increase in fraudulent communications. These messages falsely claim a subscription linked to you requires urgent renewal and are designed to prompt hasty, unauthorized payments.
You may receive a message stating:
‘Your subscription expires today. Renew now to avoid losing access.’
Always verify the existence and status of any subscription directly with the service provider before acting.
No legitimate urgency: Reputable companies do not use threatening language or demand immediate payment to prevent service suspension.
Treat unsolicited requests with caution: Any unexpected invoice or renewal notice should be considered suspicious until verified
Avoid embedded links: Do not click on links or call numbers provided in such messages, as they may lead to fraudulent payment portals
