Pay your Credit Card dues in Installments

If you have retail outstanding dues of AED 1,000 or above, you can apply for Balance Conversion to pay your Emirates Islamic Credit Card dues in easy installments. You can choose to pay in 3, 6, 12, 18, 24, 36 or 48 equal monthly installments, which will be billed to your Monthly Card Statement.

Eligibility

A retail outstanding of AED 1,000 or above on your Emirates Islamic Credit Card
Transactions on both primary and supplementary credit cards are eligible, but only the primary cardholder can apply
Emirates Islamic Corporate, Business Credit, Prepaid and Debit Cards are not eligible

You can cancel the Balance Conversion plan but please note, a foreclosure fee will apply.

Fees and Charges

There is no processing fee charged on a Balance Conversion plan, but a nominal profit rate applies based on usage. The profit rate is subject to change at any time.

For cancelling or foreclosure, a foreclosure fee of AED 150 plus 5% VAT applies.

FAQs

What happens if I miss paying an installment while I have a Balance Conversion plan?

If you fail to pay your installments for two consecutive months, your plan will be foreclosed. Your entire outstanding Balance Conversion amount will immediately be due for payment in full. Any remaining outstanding balance will attract Monthly Profit Rate charges.

What will happen to the Balance Conversion plan if I prepay the conversion amount?

Your Balance Conversion plan will remain active. If you want to cancel the plan, you must place a foreclosure request by contacting our Call Centre on +971 600 599 995.

What happens if I close my Credit Card while a Balance Conversion plan exists?

Before you place a request to cancel your Credit Card, you need to close all the active plans on your Card. Any fees applicable and the remaining outstanding balance will be due for payment in full and must be cleared prior to card closure.

Do I earn or lose reward points on my Card when I convert to a Balance Conversion plan?

No, you will not lose any reward points on your converted transactions.
