Request a bank reference letter

You can request a reference letter through the Emirates Islamic Call Center or at one of our branches.

A bank reference letter is an official document from the Bank that proves your relationship with the Bank. This letter is usually issued for embassies or universities and contains information such as your name, P.O. Box number, account number, IBAN and how long you have been with the Bank.

What date for the beginning of my relationship will be indicated on the letter if I have several accounts with the bank?

We use the date you first opened an account with us.

Can I have all my accounts mentioned in the letter?

You can request that all or some of your accounts be listed, except for credit cards, deposits and finances.

What happens to my request if my account does not have sufficient funds to cover the fees and charges?

Then you will not be able to process your request any further.

Can the letter also be issued for foreign currency accounts?

Yes, the letter can be issued for any foreign currency account you hold.
