Why do I have to provide the Bank with my personal documents like passport, Emirates ID, residence visa etc.?

Emirates Islamic, like any other bank or financial institution, has to ask for proof of identity from customers before they engage with them. This is in line with the Central Bank of the UAE regulations to prevent anti-money laundering and fraud.
