Security Tips for Subscribers — Emirates Islamic WhatsApp Banking
Please ensure to use the same mobile number registered with us. If you've changed the mobile number recently, please update it via Mobile Banking App and then register for WhatsApp Banking.
If you are still not able to subscribe, please contact our Call Center at 600 599 995 to request support.
Emirates Islamic will never ask you to share your personal information via WhatsApp. This includes your full card or account number, CVV, credit card expiry date, PIN, OTP, Mobile Banking or Online Banking ID, password, and so on.
You can just start a new conversation again. To do this, you need to have Emirates Islamic’s number 600599995 in your contact list.
Yes, WhatsApp banking in EI + is available in English and Arabic language. You can change the preferred language from “General Information” under “Explore Services” menu.
No, we request you to be patient with us and wait till the WhatsApp Banking chat agent closes the conversation with you before initiating new services.
No, please do not turn on the disappearing message feature as WhatsApp does not support automated business interaction while this feature is on. So, please make sure that you have switched off this feature.
If you lose your phone or if it falls into the wrong hands, please call 600599995 and report it to us immediately.
Always lock your mobile device when not in use and activate your SIM card with a PIN in addition to enabling WhatsApp's 2-step verification. WhatsApp 2-step verification adds additional security to your account with a 6-digit PIN you create. Once this is enabled, any attempt to verify your phone number on WhatsApp, when changing phones or swapping SIM cards, for example, can't be completed without the PIN.
